The Story of Evergreen Carpets
In the Indian textile industry, Ever Green Carpets was a pioneer when it was founded in 1995. After India gained independence, in the early 1950s, our forefathers began weaving on a loom. He began weaving in his house, and before he knew it, the enterprise was blossoming into a family custom! With the assistance of their sons, they began making the rugs by hand for various businesses, allowing them to experiment with new rug kinds.

Our forefather's son began exploring and engaging in business with them in the 90s.​ Despite the difficult business climate in India in the 90s, we have never wavered in our commitment to uncompromising quality and unrivalled weaving tradition. Dedication and cutting-edge weaving methods have stood the test of time. This multigenerational family business was named their company EVERGREEN CARPETS in 1995 by Mr. Mohd Izrail.
EGC takes pleasure in its location in the well-known heritage carpet city and hub of the well-known hand-knotted carpets, nestled in the heart of Bhadohi, the carpet city of India that has long been known for weaving hand-knotted carpets that date back to the time of Mughal emperor Akbar.

EGC produces half of its own energy demand from solar panels which are placed throughout the roof of the factory.
LOW IMPACT DYES
Eco-friendly raw colors, the dyes in our rugs are long-lasting, also thanks to a state-of-the-art dying fixation process.
We recycle textile waste, paper, cardboard, plastic, pallets, oil, cartridges, batteries, and other materials.
RECYCLED YARN
Some of our rug collection uses hand-spun leftover yarn batches, thus reducing waste and making the color palette of our rugs as unique as their design.​
